Pierce pictures July 1953 touring car

A friend from Michigan, who’s family has been into cars for decades, gave me these two pictures. On back, “July ’53, E. Lans [ing], starting for picnic in Mason in Stan’s ’30 Pierce 8” .

Anyone recognize the car or know who owns it now? Just curiosity, thought they were nice pictures, and 1953 was the early days of car collecting, the car was only 23 years old then, not even “antique” by some definitions!!
