I received my repro running board mats from The Pierce Foundation earlier this week. They look great and the service and turn around time was amazing, thanks John Wozney!
The running board mats were one of the parts I procrastinated too long to get. I got much of what I needed 20+ years ago from Irv Blonder before I started restoration. Now that I am finally putting things together I have the somewhat sad but sweet experience of finally digging out those parts and seeing Irv’s handwritten notes sent along with them.
If the notes are instructions, perhaps you could share them with us.
Well, the last one was written on a piece of tape attached to the inside of the stainless steel water manifold plate, so I had to scratch it off! I’ll keep it in mind as I keep dredging parts up.

I also have a shelve full of Irvin Blonder parts, that I know I need for my ’35 Pierce-Arrow 12. I also have all of his packaging and as James has said his “notes””. I am glad that I had the fore site to purchase up a stock of new reproduction items that Irvin mfg’d. Several sources told me a few years before Irvin passed on that I would be wise to buy while I could. We are lucky to have several good craftsmen that still carry the torch for building parts needed to restore and keep running our Pierce-Arrows.
