Hi all
I have a 1935, 845 EDL with engine no. 310107 and currently have adjustable main jets, they leak a little so I’m wondering about replacing them, but what size should I put in, 0.040?-0.048?. Gasoline in Norway is 98 oct, which is equivalent to the US’s 93-94oct without E10.
The carburetor is an EE-3 with a 1″3/16 venturi.
Thank you very much in advance.

Hello Terje: I need to confirm, but .056-,060 is the range of jet sizes I have found in the EE3. When I get home in a few days, I’ll look at a few original carbs to determine their jet size.
You might be better off repairing and resealing the adjustible jets. I think having adjustible jets might allow an owner to ‘tweak’ the fuel mixture to suita particular road or altitude or weather condition.

Hello Gregory
That would be great if you checked your carburetors.
I see that John Cislak sells main jets for EE-3 and EX-32 with the size .040 and there is a big difference between .040 and .056-.060, so it will be interesting to see what size your main jets are.
I will take the adjustable main jets and see if it is possible to reseal them, my needles are bent so they need to be straightened.
There was really little information on the internet about the size of the main jet on the EE-3 (Stomberg 48)
best regards

Hi all
yes, I found a calibration chart on the internet.
There the PA and EE-3 carburetor calibrations are given, also the main jet size, my 35, 845 should have a 0.060″ main jet.
