I have taken possession of a 1934 1240A Silver Arrow  and will begin soon on the restoration. So far it appears the engine and drive train are all in good shape, but the rest of the car is in need of a lot of tender loving care. My goal for the long Montana winter is to clean up and paint the under carriage as well as the engine. The hood, radiator, fenders and interior will come off so I can get better access to things.  I will occasionally post updates as I progress.

Looks like the shorter version of my 840A Club Sedan !  Very Nice!!

@Kevin Miller, the club sedans are on 139″ wb while the Silver Arrows are on 144″ wb, so it’s NOT shorter than yours.  🙂

Full disclosure:  I own a 1934 Silver Arrow.

I owned this car back in the 1980s.  I just wrote a long story about acquiring it, and then the computer decided to erase it.

Maybe I’ll do it again later.  A great car to restore, was a powerful driver  even though cosmetics were awful.
