Many thanks to Tony & Pat Doughty for a marvelous job of arranging the events in Tucson. We had a great time with about 60 attendees. Great history lessons, awesome architecture, good food, good friends and some beautiful cars in two different collections.

Productive board meetings as well thanks to Rich Lange and Merlin Smith.

The weather was a little cool for Arizona, but late Springlike if back home!

Tony and Pat outdid themselves once again! The program of attractions was superb, and Tom Peterson’s original 38 hp custom-body 3-door sedan with leather interior including headliner parked outside at the Franklin Museum was a special treat. It was wonderful to see old friends again and to meet new friends.

I’ve always admired Tony and Pat’s enthusiasm for the Club and their

big hearts for the members. The Meet was held at a perfect hotel and

we saw world class attractions. I even got a side trip into Tombstone

where they have a 1906 Queen chassis that has been sitting outside for

a hundred years. My fellow tourist, John McNichol, said that when he

had seen it in the ’50’s, it had the missing radiator, transmission,

and one hubcap on it. Thanks for the memories and hats off to Ben Oakes

    too.

Absolutely, many thanks to Ben as well. He handled all the finances and registrations, freeing us up to do the fun stuff. Thank you, Ben!

    Pat and Tony,

It could not have been any better! The food and accommodations were great and the things we saw were absolutely “top-shelf””.
