    I need the adapter which fits on the transmission end of the cable. It fits over the “key”” on the cable and the other end fills the slot in the transmission drive gear. I have attached a picture of the end of the cable.”

    Here is a picture of the similar “adapter” at the other end, ie the speedometer.
