A friend of mine had this original Waterfront accessory grill for my ’25 Series 80 Roadster in his garage for the past 20 years. Since I had the radiator out anyway for re-nickeling and re-coring; I thought I’d drop it on. My radiator guy braised special sleeves through the new core so that the long bolts that hold on the unit don’t vibrate against the core and spring leaks. It works wonderful. The louvers open when the copper discs resting instead the top on the unit get warm and expand; thus pulling the hinged louver system steadily opening them in unison. My friend has another one that’s nickel plated that’s a little larger for a later PA that he’d sell for about $500 if anyone is interested.
The second one is probably for a Dual Valve Six
