    Hi to Everyone,

I have a 1930 series A 7 passenger sedan with stock wood spoke wheels. Would wire wheels from a 1931 series 43 fit my 1930 series A? Thanks for your time. Sincerely, John

No, 1930 cars are five lug, 1931 are six lug.

Also, you need the correct hubs when changing from wood to wire……and drums and hubcaps on certain years also.

    Hi John

Wire wheels—-we all love ’em! But remember that original wood wheels on 29, 30, 31 cars seem now to be rarer than wires.

I too went thru the “need” for wires on my 29 Brougham. After a couple of years to calm down, original woods feel GOOD! cheers

    Jak
