We have had to adjust our plans to adapt to the covid-19 situation.  We certainly can’t “gather” as in past years, but we have options for those that are interested having a Pierce-Arrow Society activity next month. 

The Pierce-Arrow Car Show at Gilmore is a definite GO on Sunday from 9AM to 3PM.  We can do this with cautious social distancing outside.  Box lunches will be included in the new modest registration fee.  On June 12, the Gilmore Car Museum opened with inside occupancy limitations.  Masks are mandatory indoors and advised on the grounds.  At present our Pierce-Arrow building is limited to occupancy of 12 people at a time. 

Saturday we will have available an optional ‘on your own’ scenic drive of about 70 miles including an afternoon to explore the entire Gilmore Car Museum for those who are interested.  It will start at the Comfort Inn in Plainwell.  Due to the extended Gilmore Museum closure this Spring, museum cars will not be available for use during the weekend’s activities.  The Comfort Inn will provide current information on dining options in the Plainwell area for your evenings there.

    Room reservations at the Comfort Inn can be made or revised now, but don’t wait too long! The block ends July 30.   Please complete the attached Registration form and mail it as soon as possible.  We will respond with Name Badges for free admission to the Gilmore Car Museum, directions to and from Gilmore and the Saturday scenic drive instructions.  Pierce-Arrows are welcome to park in front of the Pierce-Arrow Museum Saturday & Sunday, but modern cars will park near the Gilmore Heritage Center main entrance
