Pierce-Arrow Society Great Lakes Tour & Orphan Car Show Weekend
August 27-29th
A Special Gathering for PAS Members and Friends

Join fellow members of the Pierce-Arrow Society for a memorable late-summer weekend of touring, camaraderie, and celebration of the great marques that shaped automotive history. The weekend culminates with the 3rd Annual Orphan Car Show, the major annual fundraiser benefiting the Pierce-Arrow Museum at the Gilmore. Last year’s event set a new record for the number of cars displayed on the show field at Gilmore, and this year promises to be even bigger. From scenic drives along Lake Michigan to exclusive collections and the celebration of historic orphan marques, this is a weekend designed especially for enthusiasts who appreciate the legacy of Pierce-Arrow and the community that preserves it.

Thursday, August 27 — Touring the Lake Michigan Shore

Our tour begins with a scenic drive to the charming lakeside town of Saugatuck.
Members will enjoy a morning visit to the historic Felt Mansion, a beautifully preserved 1920s estate that captures the elegance of the era when Pierce-Arrow automobiles ruled America’s finest roads.

From there, a short drive to Holland where we’ll board the Holland Princess for a relaxing lunch cruise on Lake Michigan.
The afternoon continues with a visit to Holland, Michigan before gathering for a convivial group dinner at Four Roses—the perfect opportunity to reconnect with friends and share stories of the road.

Friday, August 28 — Aviation & Automotive History

Friday morning brings a special visit to Vicksburg, Michigan for an insider tour of the Ford Tri-Motor repair and restoration hangar—an extraordinary look at one of aviation’s most iconic aircraft.

After a scenic drive to Gull Lake, members will enjoy a relaxed group lunch before the afternoon’s highlight: an exclusive visit to a significant private automobile collection—an opportunity few enthusiasts ever get to experience.

Saturday, August 29 — 3rd Annual Orphan Car Show

The weekend concludes with the 3rd Annual Orphan Car Show, benefiting the Pierce-Arrow Museum, held “On the Green” at the Gilmore Car Museum from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Members will enjoy a display of magnificent Pierce-Arrow automobiles alongside other notable orphan marques—cars from great companies that are no longer in production but remain cherished by collectors today.
Awards will be presented at 2:00 PM.

Sunday, August 30 — Import Invasion at the Gilmore — A New Tradition Begins

On Sunday, August 30, the beautiful campus of the Gilmore Car Museum will host something entirely new — the first-ever “Import Invasion”.

Hosted by the Pierce-Arrow Museum at Gilmore, this special event invites all imported automobiles and motorcycles to gather for a day celebrating the remarkable engineering, design, and culture of cars from around the world.

From elegant European classics and British sports cars to iconic German engineering, Italian exotics, Japanese performance legends, and unique imports of every era — if it crossed an ocean to get here, it belongs at Import Invasion with all proceeds to benefit our Pierce-Arrow Museum.

Join us for scenic touring, rare collections, and the fellowship of Pierce-Arrow enthusiasts—all while supporting the museum that preserves the marque’s remarkable history.
