This might work even better if you can figure out how to get it home……..

Taken at the PAS 2017 meet in St. Louis.

    Dave,

A real challenge, as this unit is not self-propelled. Its huge engine powers only the plow blades. A regular train engine pushes it forward.

We are getting a downpour in DC. It is finally clearing the 10 inches of snow we got last weekend. David Coco is 70 miles west, and likely buried in snow and ice.

    Bring on Spring!

We’re getting rainy sleet, Bob, if that makes sense. Mid 30’s temperature, so just imagine walking around outside in a layer of Slushee!

Forecast of low single digit temps Monday, my garage is heated by a heat pump and that won’t work well!

    #408679

I hate to bring this up to you folks in the Snow back East but we out West in the Pismo Beach area experienced temperatures in the Mid to High 70’s today. If any of you would like to Relocate to the West Coast Twila and I can help you out with that.

    #408680

I’d love to move out to California into that nice 70 degree weather. And Pismo Beach? Yes indeed. Beautiful.

So, if I sell my house here in upstate New York, what kind of Real Estate can I buy out there for the $160,000 that I can get for mine? LOL

    #408681

$160,000 will get you an outhouse on a 200 Sq ft lot here in So Cal.

    Haha

    Luke,

If you have seen the show Tiny House they are starting to allow them here in San Luis Obispo. You maybe able to get one of them for your$160,000. Occasionally there is an older mobile home with space rent.

    #408685

Being single, a Tiny House would be perfect. . . so long as it has an attached ten car garage.

    #408695

    Luke,

You really have your priorities right! Is ten enough?

Working for H.P. Hood, a northeast dairy company, I was sent to Sacramento to upgrade the acquired Crystal Cream dairy plant.

My first day there, I made a comment in front of a group “Oh my gosh, all these exposed outside water lines with no heat trace and insulation!”…….they laughed and laughed,……doesn’t freeze in Sacramento!

Wonder what their forecast might be….

    #408699

David, Nor Cal has been seeing a LOT of rain the last week including Sacramento. Several feet of snow in the mountains. Sun is forecast for next week though. We’re sending all of storms to the east, so probably more headed your way…….. Dave

    Luke,

We can arrange that for you in the Central Valley. There is a place called Santa Margarita on the east side of San Luis Obispo County where you can still by 2.5 acres for under $20,000. There are places that come up from time to time for around $100,000.

Twila and I can assist in helping you Relocate to anywhere you would like to live. Let us know where it is you would like to possibly move to and we will have one of our associates contact you.

Luke: Ken and Twila will ‘only’ want driver-rights to your cars. :-)

I might suggest that you consider New Mexico. It is more affordable and the climate is generally rather mild.We could use more car collectors here plus bring in a business that provides jobs.

    Gents,

With everyone having their undies in a twist about the snow in the northeast, we who live there consider this a consequence of what is called WINTER.

The posting started as cute and then degraded to a sales pitch for California real estate (Ken).

    ERR, how about FIRES?

I am not sure if the Northeast EVER lost an entire town to FIRE.

    Yes, lovely California!

Give me 6 to 12-inches of snow any day rather than uncontrollable wildfires.

I have my BUFFALO GRADE, Track Driven, 28-inch wide, Honda Snowblower and I am all cleared out and ready for Monday Morning!

Also note, I am a Buffalo Transplant, so Winter IS, what Winter Does.

    Spring is 2-months, 1-day away!

    Cheers,

    Peter

    Peter,

You are right I thought I would mention that I am in Real Estate and working for a living. Twila and I would like to help anyone out with their move wherever it might be. I was enjoying the dialog with the other members.

I will let it go now.

    Thank you for everything.
