    Just wanted to inquire about the best method of removal (if necessary) to install a new weatherstrip for the windshield? I’ve removed a couple of covers in the interior where the windshield pivots, and wonder if these “hinge”/pivot pins should be slid toward the middle, or??

    Carl,

    Remove those screws, slide the pins towards the center ( may take a good tap), and windshield frame should come loose.

    Thanks, Tom. I’ve already dealt with a little zinc/pot-metal education on this one, so am even more respectful of its 93 years…
