836 Main bearing caps

    The second problem I have is I am missing a main bearing cap.

    I have the rear, one I think is the center because of the thrust surfaces, one that is 1 3/4 wide with a valley on the back, (3) 1″ wide and (2) 1 1/8″” wide. All widths are across the width where the bolt holes are.

    Does any one know which one I am missing and if so does anyone have one?

    A photo would be extreemely helpful. Show the bottom of the engine and point out the missing cap.

    I have determined I am missing a cap that is 1″ wide where it mates with the block (the ends where the bolt holes are).

    That would make it any of the even numbered positions, ie 2,4,6,or 8.

    Does any one have a spare?
