I hope this picture shows up. It was shared with me from a fellow In our Model A Club. It was taken In 1973 on his Dad’s farm. He made a corn sheller using parts of his Pierce Arrow.
Interesting, Robert. In 2006 I bought a Series 33 engine on eBay (block photo attached) that had been used to power a corn sheller in Illinois. And I heard rumors several times near our former home in Northern Minnesota about a saw mill way back in the woods that had been powered by a 48 hp Pierce engine. Never could track it down, though…..
The photo was taken at the Labor Day Mt. Pleasant, Iowa tractor show about five years ago. Is the radiator correct for the truck?
Just when you think you have seen everything! Very cool…….
The radiator may be correct for a Pierce-Arrow truck, but not for the Pierce-Arrow car to which it is attached!
It seems a tad tall, eh?
