Even after carefully setting the shoes to drums, I need better brakes. My current linings seem to be hard and don’t have the needed drag. I want to replace the linings. I have a local brake shop that can reline them.

What/Where I can get the best lining material? I have heard something about “Green Gripper”? But is there better? Can a good brake shop reline them or should I send my shoes to a specialty shop?

What dimensions on my brakes, pedal and handbrake so I could buy the proper dimensions for the material? I know they will be hand fitted to my shoes. But rough dimensions?
