Could someone share with me an overview of how to remove the frame and windshield, so I can replace the windshield glass on my 1929 sedan? Thank you!
Dennis, the rear upper corners of the windshield frame have a 1/2-inch sliding pin. You loosen the 2 screws in the rear corners and slide them towards the center of the windshield about one inch. This allows you to lift out the frame. These pins are also the hinge pins. I cover the cowl with towels and using two people remove the frame out the front. Karl
Thanks Karl.
I was able to move the pins and free the windshield frame, but could not remove it. The frame will not clear the crank out mechanism. I have tried moving the frame into numerous positions. Is there a step I am missing? Thank you.
