I`m restoring my 1928 Pierce Arrow. Does anyone know are radiator grill and mascot, door handle etc. crome or nickel plate?
And I need aluminium step light pad ( PA is rumble seat model ).
I`m interested in all parts, good, bad, photos or if somebody rents/ lends this kind of step light bad I will mold new ones for you and me.
Has somebody photos of 1928 coupe model, it would help my restoring
project
Your plated parts should be nickel plate. 1928 was a transition year, I’ve seen parts on all original cars that are chrome. But for every chromed part I’ve found, I’ve also found it in nickel.
So I’d just nickel all the plating.
I’ll look and see what photos I have of my ’28s that I had, that was before digital cameras, so I don’t know if I’ve saved the photos.

Jarmo,
This photo of a Series 81 coupe was taken at a PAS meet years ago…back in the days of film…
