Where can I get a set of distributor points for my ’25 Series 80?

Hi Tom, they can be bought off of ebay, but these points were made in the days of repairable or fixable parts, not like today where it’s ‘throw it away, and put on new’.

The Tungsten point surfaces on these points are very thick, they are intended to be gently filed with a point file.

If the points are badly pitted, then the condenser is going bad.

A new condenser can be attached at the coil, or on the outside of the distributor, if you cannot find one that fits inside.

The ponts should just about last a lifetime if the condenser is good, and a very little bit of cam lube in son the distributor cam. The pivot pin can use a tiny portion of a drop of light oil, like ‘3-in-1 oil.
