Does Anyone know this Car?

This 1934 840-A came out of a private collection in the mid-west, perhaps Wisconsin area. It was in this collection since about 1996. I don’t know anything prior to that.

In this body style and color, there can’t be too many identical 840-A’s floating around. Does anyone recognize it and know anything about the car’s history?

Gee, I can come close! This one was the Springfield meet in 2005.

These are two different cars. The picture you have posted has the correct bumper(s), and is a “regular”” sedan.

The one that Scott has posted is a “”Club Sedan.””

I didn’t see the sedan vs club sedan difference until after I’d posted it. I’d better get new glasses. Don’t ever sign me up for judging!
