There is a partially restored ’36 on ebay. I have no ties to the car. Looks like a lot of the hard stuff has been done. I couldn’t find the engine number, 406174, in the roster.

This appears to be the same dark green 1602 that was for sale in Hemmings back in 2011, the car was then located in either North or South Carolina and had a partially restored asking price of approx. $18k. By the time I called on it, it had been sold.

According to the eBay listing, the car is now in Massachusetts, Mr. Minnie, you and Mr. Cislak may want to check it out.

    Stuart, Ed and John.

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately, if you scroll all the way to the bottom it says

*** THIS CAR IS PHYSICALLY LOCATED IN LYON, ILLINOIS ***

I can’t find a Lyon, Il but Lyons is just across I55 from Midway in Chicagoland.

Thank you Bill for the Illinois car location, just the seller is in North Andover, MA, not the car.

A second look through the photos on eBay and this is the same 1602 that was for sale in Hemmings in 2011. Ed, you and I discussed the chrome plated door hinges at that time which this car also has.

I remember going over this car very clearly with Stu. I formed opinions on the car and it’s value at the time . I do not know who owns a car currently . I will reserve comment to PAS members directly on the telephone . If anyone is seriously interested give me a call and I’ll tell you what I remember . As always I recommend anybody buying a Pierce Arrow have somebody well-versed in the particular year car your are interested in assist you.. My best, Ed.
