Jack,
Here it is.
Peter
Hi Peter,
The only one at Volo I was considering is the blue one; I have absolutely no interest in the one with the shortened chassis. Thanks for the heads up about Wayne Hancock’s car…that is a gorgeous car. For my purposes though it’s actually too nice…I’d hesitate driving it very often. I’m looking for more of a driver that’s correct but with enough needs that I won’t feel bad about diving it frequently and getting it dirty. I’ll probably make it to Hershey at least one day but I haven’t firmed up plans yet.
Jack
Hello,
When I bought my Series 80 I also bought a spare engine.
The number on the engine is 8012-794 does anyone know what car it came out of
or what the history might be? It seems like it would have come out of a later Series 80.
Thanks,
Ken
Ken,
There is no listing for that specific number, but those on either side of it are 1926 Series 80 cars.
Peter
Peter,
Thank you for the information. Should I add it to the Pierce Arrow items
I have on the PAS?
Ken
Ken,
What do you mean?
I cannot add to the listings given me by Bernie Weis.
Peter
I think Ken means should he go online and add the ‘engine only’ with serial number to his list of Pierce vehicles or parts of vehicles to his list on the PAS listing under his name..
Ken: that is your option. It serves to show that the engine survived,
Greg Long
Greg,
You are correct. That is what I was asking.
I didn’t know what kind of items should be added to the list.
I also have a spare rear axle.
Thank you for making it clear.
Ken
