I have been trying to come up with a way to move my engine around and be able to work on the top end and valve tappets.
I decided to use the mounting brackets and came up with a dolly setup.
Trip to Home Depot yielded dollies, 1 1/2″ pipe flanges, 6″ x 1 1/2″pipe nipples, 8″ nuts and bolts and a couple of heavy washers.
Here is how it looks assembled. I could probably get by with a 4″ pipe nipple, but I wanted to be able to get the pan off if needed.
Probably will need some right to left and front to year bracing
We’ll see how this works
