I recently purchased a 1932 Model 54 Sedan, and I have noticed that some cars have the fuel guage located on the left of the dash near the driver and others are are the right side near passeger. I would appreciate it if I could be adivsed of the correct location of the fuel and temperature guages. Thanks, Roger D. Hill, Arvonia, VA 23004

    Roger,

On my 32′ the gas gauge is located on the driver side, however, my car is a model 53 V-12, I do not know if that makes any difference from a model 54 or not.

Both my Model 54 Touring and Brougham have the gas gauge on the drivers side. This seems to be the preferable side but the large portfolio is not clear as to which side the gas and temp. gauges are. The mounting plate bolts are the same placement for both sides so they could be placed in either location.

Mine is on the left in my series 54.
