I am just about finished with the total restoration of a 1933 1247, after 8 years. My problem is that I can’t get spark from the coil wire through the Distributor to the spark plugs. I have good spark coming out of the coils. Continuity into the ring and center roter contact point of the distributor. And continuity from the distributor to the spark plugs. Also the rotor has continuity from both ends to their distributor contact points. The distributor was set up and has new points and condensers. The cap looks good with no cracks as does the roter. The car was last run in 1990 buy required a total restoration. Electronics is my weak point. Any ideas you guys might have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Doug Vogel

    Doug,

Make sure that the rotor is turning when you crank the engine. There is a center screw beneath the rotor that locks the cam to the lower distributor shaft. If this is loose the rotor may not be turning.
