    1935 eight-cyl engine assembly

    (1) A single rod (p/n 123245) has only one squirt hole and it is centered, not right or left biased. Does anyone know that this is likely to properly lube the wall? All seven others have two holes ea, left and right.

    (2) Does the skirt split (Egge design) go to the engine left side, same as in the 12 cyl?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Bill,

It appears you have one early rod judging from the part number? Is it close in weight and design to the 35 rods? I can’t remember on the later rods. Been too long since I had a later model apart.

The piston split always goes to the coast side of the engine, not the trust side.

    Happy Motoring,

    Rick
