That dome light should be attached to the top lattice with screws.
If it is, we hope, then you need to hold the dome light by the outside of the bezel and rotate anti-clockwise and it should come off.
If not, then wiggle, wiggle, wiggle it.
Remember that you are working on an 88-year-old attachment, so if it sticks, be gentle, but it should come off.
if it will not come off, then you may want to gently squirt A TINY BIT of PB-Blast, but make sure that you have the red-tube in the sprayer nozzle and that you have an ample supply of cloths around the bezel to keep the PB-Blast from getting on the headliner.
Maybe you would be better with some type of oil (3-in-one) that does not BLAST.
If you get such compounds on your headliner or upholstery, it will be there for the next 88-years.
