Tom Sutphen

I was saddened to see the mention of Tom’s passing in the Emporium. Only a month before passing his Automotive & Fire Apparatus Foundation donated their 1913 Pierce-Arrow 2 Ton Stake Truck to the Pierce-Arrow Museum. Our sympathy to Tamea, their immediate family and nephew Bill Bartholomew who was his right hand in the Foundation’s Collection. Tom’s last attended Annual Meet was in Lake Tahoe in 2003. While I didn’t know him well, brief contacts at PAS and classic car events made it clear that he was a kind, considerate and generous man who really appreciated P-A’s. Diana & I have made a Memorial Donation to the Pierce-Arrow Museum.
