The 1929 cars did not carry these cans as there is no place to put them.I was told that possibly the pattern for the lady in the fender headlight Pierce Arrow as somehow damaged so the Enterprise Oil Company used the other pattern rather than go to the expense of making another new pattern.I would suspect the cans in Pierce Arrows built prior to the Series 2 cars of 1913-1914 would have had cans with the logo showing the lady with a bracket headlamp equipped car.As is well known,the Series 2 was the first series to be fitted with the headlights in the guards.
