    Hello Michael,

    A couple of questions for clarity. 1. What year Pierce-Arow are you working on? 2. I am not sure what you are calling a trunk strut, could you provide some more details so that we can give you an accurate answer?

    On all three 1936 cars I have owned, the struts were chrome.

    I have never seen a pair that weren’t plated.
