anyone know where I can find good original or reproduced vent window crank “cage””—-originals are pot metal. Mine are broken and can’t be repaired. I need two good ones.

Jack…..I am casting vent window crank “cages” for my 1934 840 A……if yours are the same, I can have some cast for you…..What are your off of ??

All 4 of mine were broken…..how are your gears …..they also go bad and Dave Murray has made some of those…..Rich Anderson 206-240-9434

If I remember correctly, all 34 to 38 cars used the same window crank cages and gears. I think each cage is front or rear, and left and right. I am sure if you make extras they will sell. Ask Dave if he still has the patterns or is planning to make them. They have always been a common needed item. Ed
