Vinatge Pierce Buses

Anyone aware of where a vintage pierce bus could be found; prefer a scenic touring bus as a project; but am currently doing research so am not limited in interest but totally lack insight/knowledgen where to even start.

Jerry bought a Pierce Touring Bus with glass top windows from a bus company in Salt Lake City some 10 or 15 years ago, but has so many projects going he can’t work on it. I provided him an original parts catalogue, and the bus is 95% complete, but needs full restoration If I were to restore a bus it would be this model.It is a ‘Z’ type I believe from about 1925. These have powerful duel valve engines and worm gear drives. Not fast but go anywhere. Best wishes, Bill

Hyman LTD. in St. Louis has a restored 1919 Pierce Bus for sale. It has a modern Ford Engine but the original Dual Valve 6 is with it.

I own a 1924 Pierce Arrow Bus with a glass roof. Bill mentioned it earlier. I am the 2nd owner, and know it’s history since new.
