I am curious if anyone has seen an emblem similar to the attached picture, my 1928 Fleet Arrow Wagon? Also, any recommendations on someone to refurbish it?

Common problem that it doesn’t come through. Resolution is too big.

    Charles,

    Is this what you want?

Is it for a Series 81?

Search on eBay under: Pierce Arrow Emblem.

Peter, sorry for the confusion but I am not actually looking for a new one but was wondering if anyone has seen one like mine. I have not seen any that look like mine. I’m trying to send the picture again with less resolution.

    Charles,

This is the Radiator Emblem found only on 1928 P-A Series 36 and 81 cars. I don’t know if it is also on the Fleet Arrow. Is this what you have?

    #408373

David, my emblem is mostly oval in shape and say “Pierce Fleet Arrow Wagon Buffalo New York” and inlaid with blue porcelain around the lettering.

Apparently a different emblem from the cars. Do a web search for Radiator Emblem Restoration and there are several companies that restore them. Sorry no recommendations one way or the other.

    How about this one?

    #408375

Yes, this is the one! Mine has a few more chips in the porcelain then thie one in your photo.

    #408376

David, mind if I ask if this your emblem or did you find a picture of it on line somewhere? I couldn’t find anything in line myself.

    #408377

I have one in my memorabilia collection. They don’t show up very often….

Charles, I found the photo on-line. I have a 1928 Series 36 that has the white emblem, I was curious about the Fleet Arrow Emblem, so I went looking. This was the only photo I found. Do you have the Fleet Arrow it goes on and can you post a picture of it?

When you post a picture, make sure the resolution is less than 1200 pixels or so on the long dimension. For some reason the website doesn’t like higher resolution photos.

    David,

This is a picture of my truck Prior to doing any work on it. My father bought it in the early 60’s along with a running tractor and 4 to 5 junk cars for $40.00 or $50.00.

I finally figured out how to change the resolution so here are a couple more pics showing the progress and where the truck is now. This is what i started with, damn mice.
