Here are some that are off some other year
Greg,
Here are the levers off a V12.
Here you go.

Joe is 3rd generation. He and his brother run the place. The small business is 60 years old.
I have asked before, but I will ask again. Anyone have the levers on the steering wheel that controls spark and throttle on a ’33, 836 that they are willing to part with or loan to reproduce?
William and Herb,
William, yes I was trying to replace them all. Not missing any, just wanted new.
Herb, thanks for the info and the lead. I will let you know what I find.
Bill
Tony, so you are saying he should be institutionalized?
I am showing it to be a National #473455 which is pretty readily available and it is nitrile. Below is a site that has the dimensions. Might want to see how they matchup.

Great pics and spectacular result. Big question is “Where are the 3 horns””?”
Peter,
I have a wall chart that you screw the nuts/bolts into and I get NADA.
To Mark’s point, refer to my previous mention of PA engineers and unobtanium.
Word to the wise, don’t throw these bolts away.
Seems this thread has taken on a non technical air.
I use them to store fly fishing reels. I will stick with my Pappy Van Winkles
Thanks Michael and Roger. I forgot all about G-W.
I cleaned up one bolt and it has 1035 stamped in it. Is that a steel grade, doubtful, a bolt/thread pattern, if so I can’t find it or something else.
This is fine thread, it isn’t 24,28 or 32 TPI. Leave it to the PA engineers to come up with some more item made from unobtanium.
Karl,
IMPRESSIVE. I appreciate your creativity.
Now if I can just turn a Corolla into a Silver Arrow…..
Bill
Plus it is in Spain
I agree with Jim on the fuel. Tetraethyl lead wasn’t in gas until the 20’s so when the care was new it ran on lead free gas. 1922 is the first usage of lead I have read.
Bill,
Here is the body of the message that lists a couple of sources for linings.
Joe at Industrial Friction Materials was most helpful and maybe he can help with the older linings.
“With the help of other members and some tech people, since my car (’33 836) has POWER BRAKES, I was able to source 15′ of Ferotec Friction Ltd. D3915 molded lining and 100 4-5 rivets, (I got the number off the rivet heads on the existing shoes).
I got them from Industrial Friction Materials Co in East Hampton, CT for under a kite flyer, including freight. Ask for Joe at 888-508-3794.
The material I got was .250 x 2.25″ and they need to be cut to 19″, holes drilled, countersunk and riveted to the shoe.
I talked to the tech guy at Ferotec and he said one critical thing is they have to be cured at 350-400 degrees F for 3 hours and either have to have the correct curvature or be mounted to the shoes as they cannot be flexed after they are cured.
If you have a shop that can reline yours, the spec sheets below may help
Spec sheets are available at

Again this is for the ’33 and later cars with Stewart Warner Power Brakes”
Bill,
There is a thread about Stewart Warner brakes but it has a link to a lining supplier
Search “Brake linings Stewart Warner Power Brakes”” in this message board.”
Eric, depending on how old, they may only have a bill of sale in GA. I think it is ’62 or older.
High bid was $29,500 + 10% buyer’s fee $32,450
I hour $29,500 less thank 1 hr.
