I hate to bring this up to you folks in the Snow back East but we out West in the Pismo Beach area experienced temperatures in the Mid to High 70’s today. If any of you would like to Relocate to the West Coast Twila and I can help you out with that.
Hello David,
I never thought that you were criticizing what I said. I just wanted to point
out that there are several Pierce Arrows for sale on the site. Hope you have a Blessed Day.
Ken
Mark,
Welcome to the PAS. I have gotten a lot of great help here. I am sure you will find these guys to be very helpful.
I posted the link to the Barn Find because they had several Pierce Arrows for sale there.
Enjoy the ride,
Ken
Hi Curtiss,
A couple of things I notice is that in the listing it states a 6 cylinder and that it is a coupe. I believe it would have to be an 8 or 12 cylinder and it looks to be a sedan to me.
Merry Christmas to everyone and a Happy and Safe New Years!
Ken and Twila
Charles,
Maybe you can do a Youtube Video and then Post the link here.
Ken
Curtiss,
Thank you for putting together the page for the Museum on Facebook.
I look forward to seeing everything that everyone has to offer.
Ken
Another picture of the side threads.
Hello Peter,
I believe it is Stainless. It doesn’t get hot though like you would expect Stainless to get. Here is a picture of the bottom side.
I am still in need of another cap that I can mount my Moto Meter to. If anyone has one that I can purchase I would appreciate it. It would be helpful if the hole is already drilled.
Craig,
You are correct it the hood does miss it when I open the hood. At one point someone did figure out a way to hit the hood against it. George T. pointed out to me where it had hood was nicked. I am very careful when opening the hood and do turn the cap to the side as George suggested I do that to make sure it does not hit.
This is the one that we have on our Series 80. It came with our Pierce Arrow when we bought it.
Peter, I also saw the one you pictured that was on ebay last week. Someone got a
nice buy on it.
Hello Dave,
My YOM plates for this year were $138. You are welcome to stay in our spare bedroom when you make the trip here.
I think the reason your Registration is so much higher is because you have a more valuable Pierce Arrow.

Ken
David,
The DMV in San Luis Obispo was very helpful when I went to register our Pierce Arrow when we purchased it from Arizona. We may have been somewhat fortunate that our plates had been registered in CA once before and they were able to find it in the DMV Computer. We do pay an added fee for having YOM plates on the Pierce but it is not very expensive when we look at the bigger picture of being able to drive with the plates that match the car. Our Plate numbers actually have the year in number a couple of times. We couldn’t ask for a better plate for our vehicle and are fortunate to have them. Our Pierce is a 1925 Series 80.
Here is my Year of Make Plate.
I am looking for a plane cap for a Series 80 that I can add my Motometer. If anyone has one that they can sell please email me or let me know here.
Thanks,
Ken
I am looking for an original radiator cap for my Series 80. Does anyone have an extra one that they would sell me? If so please let me know.
Thank you,
Ken
Here is a picture of our 1925 Pierce Arrow Series 80 when we met George, Ann, Bob and Nancy at the Inn on Morro Bay the morning after. I have to thank George for adjusting the Carb. Our Pierce now runs fantastic.
Dave,
We enjoyed meeting you and the other fine members. We are looking forward to our next meet. Twila has decided that she wants to learn how to drive our Pierce Arrow.
Ken
This was our first meet and we are looking forward to our next meet. Everyone was great and made us feel very welcome.
My wife and I were able to purchase two of them at the Meet. We are pleased to have them early. Our car is featured for the month of April.
