Sorry, I failed to respond to your first aide box question. yes it is hinged on the left side of the box.
The metal piece that is sticking out of my dash is actually some make shift knob that someone decided to put in the factory drill hole for the lighter.
Thanks Ed, your lighter head is close but not the original. Thanks to Dr. Pete he had an orignal in his box of goodies. Now, I am lighter rich. I have 3. All different models within one year of produciton.
Im very lucky, though tattered, I have whats left of the top as well as the boot and sidemount covers for patterns.
Both the top, and the leather is a super high quiality. I actually have the colors sitting on my kitchen counter as I write this. I will select the final choices by tuesday. The order goes in on tuesday.

I was thinking the same thing about the lap robe rail. Well see when we have the dry fit of everything.
The cars convertible frame has some hooks for hanging stuff as well as a hole. Not sure if it just missing a rivet or if it was for something else. It doesn’t look like it was every used.
Though you can not trust to put a wrench in my hand, the mechanics listed an etire list of things they are putting in new. They are not using all the orignal parts. Unfortunately for me, I can only understand a small level of what they are doing. But, NO, they are not putting back all the orignal internal parts.
Just the top wing nut with the large wings. However, Im not adverse to taking the whole assembly so you don’t have ot break it up.

The fire extinguisher was made in brass and nickel plated. The Nickel plated one was $2 more in 29′. Of course, pierce put the nickel plated on in their accessorie list.

`I know the Radio is a bit newer than the car but it was so cool to me with the matching coffee clutch I had to get it.
