Tony, I’m twenty five years younger than you and I can’t remember what I ate for dinner last night. That is literally about 800 car shows ago that I attended. That said, it’s a great area to tour in. I hope it works out. Best, Ed
I’m quite sure anyone who buys it will be happy!
I have been running VR-1 for twenty years.
1929 had two styles of headlight and parking light lenses. Do you need glass as well? If so, you will need to figure out which headlight lenses you have. The glass can be very difficult to locate…….either in parking lights or headlights.
Fantastic work……..that took years…….thank you to all who were involved.
Tom, I might have an arm that goes from the pitman to the front pivot point. It’s on a car up north, if you can use it I can get some photos…..if it will help, you can have it. Ed
It’s a very nice car………..I would own it. And the price is very fair.
Sal, I thought he was trying to fix a rusty or defective engine….the late series engines have some value……depending on if they are cracked or need sleeves……they’s difficult to handle and many people won’t try and keep them for the logistical reasons……hope they save it….
If you need a block, call John Cislak.
Dave is right…….but you have a cool car!ðŸ‘
Lots of stuff…….and a early 38 hp car thats all disassembled and the other perts for the car are in other lots in the auction. Looks like everything there sat outside in a junk yard for decades. I wouldn’t even call them parts cars…..too much missing. They have already been used for parts…….just the leftovers still there. Might make some helpful items for a few people……….overall it looks picked through and as some would describe…..floor sweepings. Paul, thanks for posting, interesting pile, and I can guess a certain well known member who lives rather close will be in the running……if he finds anything worth his time………Happy New Year to all.
Great car, restoration is very well done.
There is no requirement that the glass has a mark. It’s very easy to determine safety glass in place.
Bore……
I can’t find an obituary for Roy…….does anyone know for sure he has passed? I did some business with him about four years ago……he was the same Roy I had known for a long time.
Note of caution……heat on cast iron in such thin spots can cause cracking ……….it’s never a good idea to heat cast iron with a torch……..too many broken, stripped, and rotted out holes can be a very challenging problem. Good luck.
Cislak has them listed for sale on the Emporium page.
The 1933 LeBaron was sold at auction several years and passed through several collectors hands, and has recently been upgraded and updated. Looks fantastic is has been actively driven on the road. Now housed in one of the best collections in the country, and a PAS member.
To you also. We celebrated with Pierce Arrow family……….Peg and I went to Tony and Claire Zappone’s for dinner with their family. A southern Thanksgiving.
Ron, look in the printed directory and make some class and send a few emails. Many members don’t view this site. You will find they will be most helpful. Have photos of your car and wipers to help out ahead of time. Good luck.
