Bob was also my mentor in the Pierce-Arrow world. Always ready and eager to help with a project or provide information. I will always remember the times working with him or going for breakfast or just coffee. The road trips going to look at or purchase another Pierce were always enjoyable. He is more than a friend he will always be part of our family. Michele and I send our condolences to his family. I shall miss him a lot.
Just let the wife take charge

CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!
I have his comments turned on for approval so he doesn’t have free access to post. He was approved to join the page 5/30/24 to which he posted within hours an initial “question” about the hit and miss engine.
It’s always suspect when they rush in with items so quickly. Remember that Wells Fargo and money transfers and PayPal “friends and family” are non-refundable.
If anyone has messaged him for information, they have not alerted me yet. Facebook is rife with scammers.
Hi Jim – there is a company that does chemical etching in Rhode Island that at least does parts (I worked with them for artistic items i.e. Archer Tree Ornaments). They have an industrial division and do custom parts. Might be worth an email or call.

Interesting idea. I have a better way…
40 years ago, a company in Calif created a brilliant thread repair tool. One size fits most diameters that you’ll encounter. Unlike a die that cuts away some of the thread, this tool reforms the thread. It’s adjustable for any pitch or diameter, anywhere along the thread. The H&S Threadmaster is +the tool+ you want. Every so often, these show up on eBay. Way back, the tool cost $20, new. A bit more now and hard to find.
Here’s on on eBay, now. It’s been listed for quite a while. https://www.ebay.com/itm/125890577057.
Trust me; it a terrific tool.
30W will work, I got a couple from the Buick guy. Perfect fit
There is a lady that sells radio parts on ebay, she lives in Iowa, Her father and his brother had a radio shop they closed in the 60s after 40 years of operation. She has ALL their stuff and is selling it.
I bought NOS radio adapter kit for my 1940 Lasalle from her and a preset plate for a console radio.
She is your best bet on anything radio related.
I guess Charley Chaplin was right!
In earlier PA owners and service manuals you had “Your Man” oil the fan bearing, now he was replaced by modern (steam punk) “technology”.
Does the oil matter?… 30W non detergent?
Buick club for the gear?
Thanks for the insight into my car. Todd
If you haven’t, I would take it off clean it and see if it fiber gear is still in good condition. Good maintenance practice. Thanks, Andrew
The hub is an oil reservoir, the two gears are an oil pump the supplies oil to the shaft and bushing for the fan pulley assembly. A few ounces of motor oil into the hub when the slotted screw is removed. Pretty simple idea.
WEBSITE IS UP AND BLAZING! WOW!
WOW!  WHOMEVER MADE THAT CAGE MADE AN ABSOLUTE KNOCKOUT!Â
