Ed, I have two hands. On one hand, I hope you got them, I understand they were just a few rows away from me.
On the other hand, if you lucked into them, then I’d like to tap dance on your pointy little head for being so lucky!
Did you buy them? Is the rumor true? Inquiring minds want to know. Doesn’t matter what someone pays for something, it’s what it’s worth that matters.
I heard a rumor of two tool pouches, one large one small, sold by a Model T guy for 120 each. One hundred twenty…..
I had an early ’30’s sedan in worse condition than that, sat in a farmer’s field for 60 years…..sold it for $1800 to a firm in Argentina that makes race cars with Classic chassis, was darn lucky to sell it….
I’ll be at GBF 32/33 Thursday and Friday, don’t confuse me with my friend who’s sharing the space! Will have a TOC Pierce bicycle (womans), Pierce keys and tire gauges and a lot of other Pierce goodies, 35 and 36 Buffalo Automobile club license plate toppers, a Trippe spotlight, and lots of other stuff. Come visit!
At this point my wife and I plan to be there, Liz will email you…
I had an identical car, traded to a fellow in Tennessee in the mid 1980’s. Same car, or different?
His car, posted on HCCA website for sale….
I’d be wary of Egge, their quality isn’t what it used to be….but that’s my experience with their pistons, maybe their valves are OK….
If I didn’t already have one, I’d be getting that one…looks good, with some of the typical issues but a good start…
I’ll be there Thursday and Friday, GBF 32-33, just remember Great Big Fellow!
Will have some Pierce stuff for sale along with other goodies….
Sad news, Rest In Peace….
Could you please change me to the 11-1 slot I requested, please. We’re camping at the KOA off site and not sure how long it takes to get to space, set up, and walk to PAS site…thanks dc
I’d like the Friday 11-1 slot, sent you an email…
I know the car well, too, I put a top on it for the then owner. I almost bought it but , at the time, I found out the car had an engine problem, possibly that’s been addressed by now.
It’s not a bad car, just had some issues and an owner who threw money at it and missed……
I don’t know if this posting worked or not, but bidding is much higher now. Thanks dc
Paul apparently has some, waiting to hear details back from him.
Thanks, David, for the lead!
I think when discussion of this car first came up it was thought to be a 1929 with the helmeted archer.
I had an extra and provided this one to John.
I’d be glad to take it back if thought to be incorrect and he doesn’t want it.
Jim, that’d be great to have one in hand, if I need to fabricate more, thanks, will email you!
I’ll also contact Paul, thanks!
Hi, yes, a drawing would be good. It would be easy to fabricate something that would work, but I’d rather fabricate something correctly than guess. Thanks!
Thanks, I’ve been offered some of the bolt style keepers, but I’m looking for the two hole variety.
