Bob, we are working on a project to offer replacement rubber mats. The maximum length we can achieve from the mold available is 66″ and that will work fine for 139″ and 144″ cars. From the good info you’re providing, it appears a splice of two mats would be required to cover the 147″ car.

As this project rolls out, I will be able to offer more information.

Thanks for the help on this-John

Gents, thanks for the responses, they are most helpful. Bob S., if I could get the overall length of the board that would be great-if its too hard to get at it in the attic that’s ok, I’ll see what Wendell comes back with.

Bob K & Wendell, does the rubber mat on the board for that car cover the entire 73-1/2″ length?

I’m looking to understand the greatest length the rubber mat is for these long wheelbase car.

    Again-thanks all-John”

Sean, my material shows Model 41 as a stand alone pattern. All other 1930-31 cars share the same rubber.

Hi Greg, I agree with what your saying regarding the V-12 and 8. The 1932 V12 were 398CI and 429CI. The smallest V12 being only a few HP greater than the 385 8.

As you know, the small V12 didn’t go over well, only 250 were made, people were more inclined to buy the 8.
