    Hi Jim,

I would contact the auction company directly, if they sold the car they should have a record of when it was sold and to whom…though they may not release the persons name for confidentiality reasons….just my two cents. Good luck on the hunt.

A big shout out and thank you go to Rick and Liz Horne for putting this meet together. A special thank you to Liz for being my chauffeur for the weekend and putting up with me. Rick your directions were spot on and a breeze to help me get home. Thank you both.

So much to see and do…The Naval Museum on Friday was spectacular, the lunch was great, the garden tour was outstanding, and FDR”s Little White Hose was awe inspiring. To think that “The most powerful man in the world” was able to relax in such a humble surrounding.

The evening dinner on Sunday was our last hurrah and I did not want it to end.

Thank you to Rich Lange for inviting me down to this event, I am truly glad I came.

I look forward to seeing everyone in the fall at the Gathering.

    David,

It is possible we may have some non members joining the PAS as a result of the Facebook group…However, it is my belief that a good majority of those non members are people who are interested in antique and classic cars in general, and just want to see what the Society is all about. The Facebook group may not necessarily get them to join, but at least it puts them on the doorstep.

    Message from Chris:

this truck has the Seagrave F6 engine. Seagrave specifically made this engine for fire apparatus. The Pierce arrow in the seagrave was the v-12. This truck did not have the 12 plug option as some did.

    Greg,

Chris lives in Richmond KY. I encourage people to join the PAS while on Facebook, but it is not always successful.

    Here’s a thought: JOIN FACEBOOK!!!…

Or at least get Ken to respond to my friend request so I can add him to the page and you can look over his shoulder!…lol…

That last message I posted was copied from the Facebook page from Orest, NOT me!…send any responses to Orest please.

Thank you everyone for your responses, but Chris is not a member of the PAS and will not see your posts here. Please pass along any information to the e-mail address listed above, or respond to his ad on the PAS Facebook page.

    Thank you.

I still have these transmissions. I was contacted by a member in the San Diego area that indicated they would be headed to Arizona in late February or early March. Unfortunately, I’ve lost contact with the individual. Hopefully, this post will be seen and we can reconnect. In any case, I need to get these transmissions sold to an interested party. My phone number is 480 628 3763. I do accept texts.

    George,

I believe you are correct. His indication of being a new member was indicative of being a new member of the Facebook page of the PAS, not the actual Society.

    Don:

beautiful looking car…Welcome to the PAS…do you know the VIN# of this particular car?…it is located on a metal plate attached to the the side of the frame near the front spring on the (ususally) right side of the car, sometimes on the left.

We are also on Facebook if you would like to post photos of your car there as well…would love to see them!…

Message from Cory Cook concerning the frames:

we really are not sure what to ask. We are just trying to determine the value right now. I was hoping that the PAS forum could help us with that.

    Message from Mike West:

MODELS 32 and 33 DUAL VALVE motors used the distributor I am looking for . I do not own a Pierce Arrow but a early race car (1910) that has a Wisconsin T Head 6 cyl motor. I want the distributor to fire both sets of plugs.
