Glad to hear it’s still in a PAS members garage. The car was just about perfect. A little patina but I wouldn’t change a thing. Knowing Greg he will have it dialed in and cleaned up in no time.

Did Greg buy the DeRees car? I hope so, it couldn’t go to a better home, and just a short drive from where it’s been for the last forty years.

Sorry I can’t attend. If no one is headed in his direction, they can drop it off at my office on Rt 90 Mass Turnpike in Ludlow Mass. My office is 800 feet of the ramp. I can take it down to David soon. My best to all, Ed

Company in PA makes them. They have had my order for three or four years. Let me know if you have any luck.

It is under restoration on the west coast. The owner is a member of the PAS, and sometimes posts here.

Caps are the same, rotors are not. I don’t have the current information on who is selling them, I think they were around 700 or 800, but 12 caps are not hard to find, they just cost money, the PAF project reproduced a cap that couldn’t be found at any price. Ed.

I don’t think 12 caps are in enough demand, the Cadillac guys made them and there is still a decent supply at fair price. The big Pierce caps were very hard to find at any price, good used selling for 1000 or more, new replacements at 800 are a bargain. Ed

A good friend and a true gentleman, I will always remember him with a smile on his face, active and positive well into his eighties, I always enjoyed our talks. Good bye my friend, rest in peace.

I have seen a few of them over the years, always wondered what the application was for?

I’ll say gloss black, same as the frame. Today’s gloss are about the same as the ones in the thirties. We made several comparisons over the years to cars that we removed the shocks off of and they were all gloss black. Now we will hear from others for sure……..Ed

Several years ago the car in the auction was listed available for sale in line, I can’t remember where it was, and the number was about three time the numbers being tossed around for the auction results. Hope to see it at a club function again. Ed

    Any results from the auction?

32 is not worm drive. Any decent quaility hypoid oil is fine, I prefer to run synthetic.

Body was built in the 60’s was what I was told. It was on a 66 for many years, and hen placed on its current chassis. I have not seen the car since it was changed over.
