Robert, welcome to the PAS! You will find this board full of competent folks willing to help you with your PA questions.

I think Ed will also say ‘good things come to those who wait’ IE, some cars sell at silly high prices that may be discouraging but then once in a while you’ll see a real jem of a car at a very fair price-they are out there!

Best of luck in your pursuit.

I knew you were on to something awesome :)

    You go Eddy!

I’m giving Ed the benefit of the doubt on this one-I suspect he’s eyeing an amazing ‘custom’ barn find and he makes all the publication with this one.

    We’ll have to see!

Tom, thanks for sharing. I like the color combo very much, the spot light mounted to the running board is nice too.

    Great to know-thanks Eddie!

David, that is fun story. Copper at the scrap yard is worth a fortune!

Ed, I agree with your comments about exhaust flow being critical and it is good to see ‘factory spec’ being reproduced. Do you know of someone making accurate mufflers for PA?

    Enjoy your holiday!-John

in reply to: End running board chrome or stainless steel trim #398113

I recommend visiting the Max Merritt website. You will find many standard pieces of SS trim. I believe they also offer custom service if the piece is very special/unusual.

    Bill, you’re a TV natural!

Classy couple of cars and a class pair owns them. The theme ‘someone you should know’ is correct.

in reply to: 2014 PAS Gathering at Gilmore #397577

I second that Greg. Sue and I experienced our first Gathering and it was terrific. Nice tours with new and old friends made for a relaxing weekend. The Gilmore and Pierce Arrow Museum are always a delight.

A special tip of the hat to Dave and Diana for orchestrating such a fine venue.
