Boy, those of us with ’29 and ’30 cars have more than one spot to worry about on our cars.
Steering boxes, weak exhaust manifolds, crumbling carburetors, rear axles that like to snap and fragile headlight retaining rings to name a few.
Another photo of a Pierce Arrow I found looking through the pages and pages of pictures.
There are some great vintage photos on the site, thanks for sharing.
Rick, the wheels are gorgeous and will look great on your car.
Though, I don’t envy the work it will take to keep them looking great.
Can’t wait for the finished product.
The car is absolutely gorgeous.
Good luck with the sale.
For all you Windows 10 users you may want to tweak your privacy settings.
I turned off as much information gathering as I could during the install when I upgraded to 10.

Richard, what a great gift to display with your Pierce.
Happy New Year everyone!
Local agencies (city/county) used the octagon with the E in the center, state agencies used a diamond with the E in the center.
With the plate number it shouldn’t be too difficult to track down what agency owned the car.
John, I agree. I would never drill holes in a perfectly good radiator shell.
Good luck with your quest to get the guard mounted to your satisfaction.
And Merry Christmas to you, too!
John, in the emporium Frank Jones has a ’29 143 Limo for sale that has a stone guard.
You may want to contact him and see if he can send you some pictures of how his is mounted or give you information for sourcing mounting hardware.

The radio looks gorgeous now.
Good luck getting the gremlins worked out once it’s in the car with the motor running.
Let’s hope this is the start of collectors and enthusiasts giving the PAMC the recognition and desirability all Pierce cars deserve.
Looking at that side shot of the motor it appears to be the auction car that did not sell.
Same rubber hose bypassing the oil cooler.
Happy Thanksgiving to all the PAS families.
Years ago our Pierce had a real bad shimmy when a bump was hit at around 35-40mph.
Front end was tight with proper alignment.
Had new tires put on all the way around and had the front shocks rebuilt as they would leak out their fluid in a few weeks.
I don’t know which one solved the shimmy but the car has never done it again after those things were done.
That looks like a great find.
You get the clock and the vanity in one shot.
Wasn’t one of the 3 original Silver Arrows at the Redmond Oregon meet in 2006?
What a great find and a tremendously generous offer.
Posts like this are what make the PAS the best group of car enthusiasts out there.
Ed, that fabric brochure is an unbelievable find!
What an incredible resource for someone doing upholstery on a ’36 V12 car.
Jim, thanks for the input about where your plate was on your car.
No pictures of the engine.
Description mentions a roll up divider window but the interior shot shows no evidence of one.
Also says it does not have original radiator.
