Hi, just a short note. I sent Blazer some old 8 and 12 exhaust manifolds, whatever photos of manifold patterns on the site are not mine. I never sent him any money, although he did keep asking for me to send him some. The agreement I made with him was to supply some sample (broken) manifolds, and I would get replacement manifolds back. I have never seen anything back from him. I did get a call that he is using a stolen identity of the lady referred to above as well as her dead husbands name. Their son contacted me several weeks ago about it. I can tell you if he finds Blazer, Blazer will be very sorry, as it won’t be words spoken between them. He has taken quite a bit of money across the hobby, that’s why I NEVER prepay any item or service unless the shop is well known to me. I was told he has a family member in the Texas court system that is keeping him out of jail.
It was a great meet, thanks to all who put it on. Ed
John Cislak had a 29 cap for sale at the PAS meet last night. Contact him on monday to see if he still has it. His number is 413-543-9017
They were used 29 to 38. They can be converted to modern seals so they won’t leak. I replaced my 36 with modern timkin bearings and seals, no leaks for 20 years…. Ed
Mika, the same group of gentlemen entertained me and my friends on the same type of tour as you took several years ago. I must admit I still talk about that large private collection you went to also. It IS the finest display of brass cars in the country. It sure is great to have so many good and helpful people in the club. Lot’s of times I have heard it spoken, “We join the club for the cars, but stay for the people.” They are a credit to the club. Edgar Minnie
Use Jet-Hot coating service, my twelve was done in 1993 and it is still perfect. Ed
Dave, glad to see it went to a PAS member. Ed
Sold! Parts or restoration?
Another car, another story…..ED
I agree with Greg 100 percent. Ed
Bill, you are correct. The Hall lenses are the same as the ones in my car, for some reason I had Tiltray on my mind. Has anyone ever seen CM Hall lenses on a PA? Ed
That makes me feel good. I will be installing one of my sets in the next few months. I will post my result. Ed
Here is the parking light lens, it is correct according to the parts book. My car has the parking lenses that match the headlight lens. Ed
Here is the entire car……

Hi Bob, here are some photos of the Jimmy Walker car. Ed
Hi Bob. You are correct that the 31 and 32 lenses are the same. Interestingly, while checking on my 31 series 42 D/C car to be sure all the lenses were correct before I sold some spares, I found to my displeasure that I had incorrect lenses in the car. ( Or so I thought.) My car is a 33,000mile car that hasn’t been touched since the 50’s. While on a road trip last month I stopped by a members home to look at his 10,000 mile original Jimmy Walker touring car, also a series 42 touring. He also had the “incorrect” lenses in the car. I am sure they were factory. It poses an interesting question, now I have photos of two series 42 touring cars that have the same lenses in them that are different from what is listed as correct in the parts book. What would you do when restoring the car? I am going to leave the original lenses in mine, and keep a set of correct ones in the back of the car for any judge who insists the other ones are incorrect. My question to you is Why did you ask? Have you seen a car that is the same as mine? Ed
Use rubber as it will compress correctly. Poly may br stiffer. Did you check with Carr Rubber? Ed
Roger, Thank you for the great job in the arrow. The PAS has top notch publications and your hard work shows. Ed Minnie
