I have been informed that Gino is trying to find the application for this particular piece so he can find the right person who needs it.
He is trying to sell it to that particular someone that could use it…he has not given me a price, but if you could provide a fair market value, or if you are interested in purchasing it, please let me know…I will forward the information to him….
Thank you all for the information provided.
Thank you Greg & Peter…information has been forwarded.

Before you try anything try this…this is what professional restoration shops use to treat metal and wood prior to finishing…
I have used it for removing ink from my wife’s hospital smock, and to remove grease stains from clothing, it works great.
Simply apply to a clean cloth and rub out the stain…it dries very fast, is odorless and you can even use it to clean up your hands. If it is a particular nasty stain, try a soft toothbrush instead of a cloth.
You should be able to get this at any good auto parts store or hardware store.
Photos are videos are already coming in on the Facebook page…
Just sayin…
A photo of the interior…
Many, many thank you’s to those of you who answered this ad and offered up your help.
I knew I could count on the members of the PAS to help out a fellow member in his time of need. According to Ken’s messages (we kept missing each other last night playing phone tag) he will keep me informed as to his progress.
Thanks again everyone.

Okay…how about this?…
The plaque was originally dedicated on May 30th 1919…if the owners of the building can be “persuaded” to have the plaque cleaned and re-dedicated on May 30th 2019, it would be the 100th anniversary of the plaque dedication ceremony in the first place.
If we could get the local media behind this story, and get the mayor of Buffalo behind this project of a re dedication next year, (ribbon cutting) that would pump up some much needed publicity for the building, and it’s owners I’m sure, and it would be a good excuse to get the monument cleaned in the first place.
So…what do you all think about something like that?…
Jim…here is a photo of the front of the building…
My concern is that the memorial will be considered “too far gone”” or “”not in the needs of the buildings future”” for saving…is it possible to have the plaque donated to the Pierce-Arrow museum?…is this something that could be considered with the owners of the building?…”
Here is another photo of the car…this is not the body currently at the Buffalo Transportation Museum…no back window. The photo shows the car has been damaged in an accident.
Mr Leno
I would like to extend an invitation for you to join our Pierce-Arrow Society Facebook group page. We would be honored to have a celebrity of your caliber on our group page.
Try this site Bill, they have a few Pierce-Arrows for sale.
Let’s see if this works…
George also shares the spotlight with our PAS Facebook page, as he is currently our cover pic for this week…
Here in Michigan you can also register an original plate with your car. The plate can be either restored or in original condition….The nice thing about it is they are exempt from having to be renewed ever year.
